These Terms govern your use of BondPals (Pet Platform) at bondpals.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by local law) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the platform only with parental or guardian consent.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Usernames chosen at registration are permanent. You must provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized access through account settings.
4. Pet profiles and user content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, stories, health notes). You grant Pet Platform a limited license to host, display, and process that content to operate the service — including showing public pet profiles and emergency information during Lost Mode. You must not upload illegal, abusive, or misleading content.
5. Acceptable use
You may not scrape owner contact details, spam Lost Mode forms, impersonate others, attempt to bypass privacy controls, or use the platform for pet sales, breeding solicitation, or unmoderated commercial advertising unless explicitly permitted by a future product feature.
6. Atlas content vs. user content
Breed atlas pages are platform-authored reference content. Pet profiles, blogs, and comments are user-generated. Platform content and user content are clearly separated; user stories do not represent veterinary advice from Pet Platform.
7. Health disclaimer
User-generated health or care information reflects personal experiences only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.
8. Liability and changes
BondPals / Pet Platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from Lost Mode, third-party finder actions, or reliance on user content.
