Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This policy explains the browser storage used by BondPals and how optional choices are controlled. Usercentrics CMP is currently limited to approved non-production testing; GA4, GTM, and AdSense are not active.
1. Strictly necessary storage
Authentication and security cookies keep signed-in sessions working. The PET_LOCALE cookie remembers the language you requested. Consent storage is necessary to remember and honor your privacy choices. Rejecting optional purposes does not disable core pages or account security.
2. Preferences and functionality
Your chosen light, dark, or system theme and optional interface preferences may be stored in the browser. These choices are separate from analytics and advertising.
3. Analytics
First-party content-view and interaction measurement is optional and requires Analytics permission under the approved consent architecture. When denied or unresolved, BondPals does not create its analytics session keys or send those browser events.
4. Advertising
HouseAd rendered, viewable, and click measurement requires Advertising permission and additional environment gates. Google AdSense and other external advertising are not active. Advertising permission by itself does not activate an advertising provider.
5. Usercentrics and regional choices
Where activated for approved testing, Usercentrics presents region-appropriate choices, stores the decision in supported first-party browser storage, and supplies TCF v2.3, Additional Consent, or GPP signals where configured. Unknown or failed region resolution never upgrades optional permission.
6. Change or withdraw your choice
Use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer or your signed-in Privacy settings to review or withdraw optional choices. Withdrawal stops future optional collection; necessary authentication and security functions remain available.
